Annual Conference
The annual Conference, normally held in the spring, offers opportunities for networking, information exchange, and professional development. SALIS offers scholarships to qualifying members.

SALIS Listserv
The Listserv provides Full Members with a mechanism to share information, to network, and to collaborate on projects. In addition, the list serves as a medium for difficult and urgent reference questions, for the acquisition of obscure documents, for posting job listings, and duplicate journal exchange. International Cooperation
SALIS cooperates with regional and international organizations to further its goals. SALIS collaborates with the NIAAA Alcohol and Other Drug Thesaurus project and the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention's (CSAP) Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resource (RADAR) Network. SALIS sends representatives to the annual meetings of the European Association of Libraries and Information Services on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ELISAD) and the RADAR Network Steering Committee.
